Holly Willoughby has admitted to driving offences after an incident that left a scooter rider injured. The ex-This Morning star was involved in a collision near her posh £3m home in August, which led to the rider sustaining a fractured vertebra and a broken toe. Holly, aged 44, didn’t appear in court herself, but she pled guilty via post to charges of driving without due care and attention.

During the hearing at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court, CCTV footage revealed Holly making a right turn in her £25,000 Mini Cooper without signalling, which caused the accident. The court handed Holly six penalty points on her licence and fined her £2,444, which she must pay within two weeks. Her lawyer described the incident as a “momentary lapse of judgement.”
The victim’s testimony depicted him riding his white Piaggio scooter and approaching a red light at around 20mph. As he levelled with Holly’s Mini, she turned unexpectedly, causing him to be thrown to the ground.

In entertainment news, Holly is eyeing a TV comeback after stepping away from This Morning two years ago. Having recently exited You Bet! with Stephen Mulhern and with Celebrity Bear Hunt being canned, it appears she’s searching for her next big opportunity. Could we see Holly back on our screens sooner than later? Stay tuned!
