Hold onto your hats! 🌧️🌬️

Brace yourselves as Atlantic storms Humberto and Imelda might just make their presence felt in the UK soon! The Met Office is sending out a big heads-up for very strong winds and heavy rain that could hit us late Thursday into the weekend.

Starting this week, the northwest is in for some wet spells with rain showers drenching parts of Northern Ireland, western Scotland, and northwest England. Meanwhile, the south and east will enjoy some patchy clouds and sunny breaks with temperatures reaching the high teens or low 20s Celsius.
However, things are expected to change as the week progresses. A Yellow rain warning has been issued for western Scotland where folks should prep for some persistent downpours. This warning runs from Wednesday evening till Friday morning, with a possibility of 50-75mm of rain and over 100mm in mountainous areas. 🌧️
But that’s not all – Thursday evening might see winds picking up, especially along western coasts. So, anyone near the sea should stay alert!
The uncertainty lies with Humberto and Imelda swirling in the Atlantic. If they decide to drop by, we’re looking at potential for even stronger winds and more rain come Friday and Saturday. However, the exact track and strength of these storms are still up in the air.
Stay informed with the latest updates from the Met Office, as more weather warnings could be issued. Be safe out there and keep those umbrellas handy! ☔️
