Spring might finally be in the air, but hold on to your hats because the weather could turn wintry again! 🌬️ After a spell of mild temperatures with London basking at 19C, some forecasts are now predicting snow could be back next week.
Weather models are hinting at snow flurries possibly hitting Wales on March 13, and parts of Scotland, spreading across the UK by March 20. Snowfall might reach staggering rates of four inches per hour in places – get those sledges ready! 🛷
From Swansea to Scotland, and all around, keep an eye to the skies as pockets of snow may grace us in mid-March. Yet, as dramatic as it may sound, the Met Office sees a different story unfolding. Their long-range forecast suggests a more familiar scene with rain and winds rather than snowflakes. 🌧️💨
For the next few weeks, we might see soggy rather than snowy weather, with high pressure bringing rain to the west and drier patches appearing in the east. By late March, there’s a chance of a cooler spell, but temperatures should mostly stay above average.
