🏉 Unbeaten Season Alert! 🏆 Three Welsh rugby teams have gone undefeated in their leagues this season, and four more are close on their heels! Let’s give a massive round of applause to these unstoppable squads who’ve ruled the rugby field!
First up, Mold Rugby Club conquered Division North 2 with 16 consecutive wins, kicking off their campaign with a triumphant 48-0 victory and finishing with a 64-5 win. However, they did face a blip in the cup semi-final against Dolgellau.
Next, Carmarthen Athletic also clinched all 16 games in Division 2 West with memorable moments like their 101-12 win over Whitland. Their quest was slightly halted in the cup’s second round, but their league performance remains stellar!
Pontyberem, representing Division 4 West A, thrashed all opponents with over 50 points per game on average! They wrapped up their season bookended with a pair of dominant victories against Llanybydder. Tonyrefail nudged them out in the cup quarter-final back in January, though.
And now, drumroll please… Gwernyfed, Bargoed Athletic, Llangadog, and Beddau Athletic are eyeing that unbeaten crown themselves with just a few hurdles left! Whether scoring big or grinding wins out, it’s all about resilience, teamwork, and passion.
There’s still some rugby excitement left this season as these clubs aim to finish what they’ve started. Show them some love for their hard work and dedication. The future’s bright for Welsh rugby! 🌟🏉
