๐ Busted! ๐จ

In a dramatic twist straight out of a crime movie, Joshua Watkins, 23, found himself cornered by the long arm of the law in Newport. As he tried to ditch a rucksack brimming with the wrong kind of goods, little did he know that a police helicopter was watching his every move from above! ๐๐

Caught in the act on the Ringland estate, Watkins lobbed his black Nike bag into a nearby garden, hoping to escape on his bike. But Newport’s finest were hot on his trail, right in sync with the eagle eyes in the sky. ๐๐ดโโ๏ธ

Once on the ground, officers retrieved the bag, revealing a stash of cocaine hidden cleverly inside a golden egg and an orange ball – quite the haul! Cannabis, cash, and even more contraband were found once they dug deeper into Watkins’ activities. ๐ฐ๐ฟ
Officers swiftly arrested Watkins on Edward German Crescent, where his luck finally ran out. In court, he pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including possession with intent to supply class A drugs and handling criminal property. Now, he’s trading in his home comforts for two years and six months behind bars. ๐โ๏ธ
The successful operation is all thanks to the seamless teamwork between on-ground officers and NPAS. Together, they made sure that justice was served, sending a clear message that drug dealing and the chaos it causes wonโt be tolerated. A big win for the community! ๐๐ฎโโ๏ธ
