🚨 **Unexpected School Closure in Llandrindod Wells** 🚨
Hey everyone! Just a quick heads up—Ysgol Calon Cymru in Llandrindod Wells had to close part of its campus unexpectedly today due to a health and safety issue. 🏫🔒
Here’s what you need to know:
– **Closure Notice**: Parents were informed shortly after 1pm today that the campus would close early. The Builth Wells campus isn’t affected, so it’s business as usual there.
– **Transport Arrangements**: If your child was affected, they could head home if they live nearby or be picked up as usual. Buses were arranged to get the other students home safely. 🚌
– **Exams Update**: The school plans to partially re-open on Monday, May 18, specifically for students sitting exams. Buses will run as usual to ensure those can go ahead, and parents are asked to arrange pick-ups at around 11am once exams are finished. 🎓✏️
– **What’s Next?**: While the exact issue hasn’t been disclosed, the school is optimistic about a full re-opening by Tuesday. They’ve also made sure meals for free school meals are available for collection at the usual time.
Big thanks to all the parents and guardians for their understanding and support as the school navigates through this! Stay tuned for updates. 📆👌
