🏕️ Home Sweet Caravan! 🏕️

Meet Clive Hetherington, who’s lived a unique life in a caravan at Warreston Lodge, Cosheston, Pembrokeshire, for 30 incredible years! Clive set up camp back in 1996, without official permission, but time has been on his side. Thanks to the lengthy stay, Pembrokeshire County Council is set to grant him the official green light to continue calling this caravan home!

The caravan sits on a sprawling 40-acre plot owned by kind-hearted Wendy Campbell. Since buying the land in 2003, she’s allowed Clive to continue his tranquil life there. Recently, Ms Campbell filed for official permission to retain Clive’s beloved 1996 caravan as a legitimate home.
📜 Here’s the fascinating part: Following a certificate of lawfulness application, it turns out Clive’s set-up is as official as it gets! With electricity bills in his name and even a unique postal address, it’s clear the caravan has been his home sweet home. And, aerial photos confirm the caravan’s been around since day one back in 1996!
The council’s findings show consistent occupancy proof, with evidence of uninterrupted residency recorded since the early 2000s. From rent records to continuous utility connections, this little caravan tells a tale of steadfast residency!
🎉 So, here’s to Clive, who’s turned a once unconventional spot into the coziest corner of Pembrokeshire. No moving vans needed here—home truly is where the caravan is!
