Heartbreak in Belfast for the Ospreys as their Challenge Cup dreams slip away in a nail-biting finish! 🏉 Despite a valiant effort against Ulster, a late try by Kieran Hardy was controversially dismissed due to a forward pass, ending their European run. The Ospreys fought bravely with standout performances across the pitch.
Luke Morgan was unstoppable, leaving defenders in his wake and earning a well-deserved penalty try after being thwarted by a high tackle. Jac Morgan led the tackle count with his usual tenacity, though a yellow card marred his performance. And let’s not forget Reuben Morgan-Williams, whose sharp eye for gaps set up crucial plays!
Other highlights include Dan Kasende’s perfectly-timed try and Ryan Smith’s exceptional work dismantling Ulster’s maul. Despite the setback, players like Owen Watkin showed their defensive might, and Keiran Williams’ powerful carries kept us on edge until the final whistle.
The team gave it their all, with replacements like Kieran Hardy bringing energy and nearly seizing victory in the dying moments. Ulster may have dented our aspirations, but the Ospreys showed grit and determination throughout the clash.
