Jake Price, a rugby player, found himself in hot water after a series of disturbing incidents involving two women. Described by a judge as “spiteful, calculating, and immature,” Price engaged in a troubling pattern of harassment despite existing restraining orders. His actions included entering a woman’s bedroom while she slept and performing a lewd act.

The court heard how Price, after a rocky relationship that ended in 2024, bombarded one woman with calls and even approached her in a supermarket car park despite being banned from contacting her. The second complainant, having faced a prolonged period of harassment from Price, reported a chilling incident where he jumped onto her bed to shout at her.
Judge Paul Thomas labelled Price a “man child” and left him with a stark warning: “Women are entitled to see or not see whoever they want.” Price’s behaviour, influenced by struggles with mental health and substance issues, led to his arrest and subsequent conviction. Sentenced to 18 months in prison, he will serve half of this time before being released on licence.

If Price continues on this path, he risks further jail time, potentially jeopardising his sporting career. This case underscores the importance of respecting personal boundaries and adhering to legal orders.
