🌿 Buzz Off, Mozzies! 🌿

Summer 2026 is here, and with it comes warm, humid nights that might just be turning your beloved garden into a mosquito playground. But fear not! We’ve got some simple tips from garden whiz Luke Newnes to help keep those pesky bugs at bay.
1️⃣ **Empty It Out**: Mosquitoes love still water for breeding. Don’t let your plant pot saucers, buckets, or any sneaky dips in your paving turn into a nursery. Empty these water spots every 3-4 days to disrupt the mosquito lifecycle.

2️⃣ **Cover It Up**: Not all water features can be drained, and that’s fine! Just cover them with a fine mesh or secure lids to block mozzies from laying their eggs. You’ll maintain your garden’s vibe while sending those pests packing.
3️⃣ **Screen It In**: While it’s tough to banish every mosquito from your garden, flyscreens on windows and doors can keep them (and other pests) from getting into your home. It’s a simple barrier that lets you enjoy your indoors mozzie-free.
Don’t let mosquitoes ruin your garden fun. With these easy steps, you can enjoy a serene summer and keep those unwanted buzzing guests out! 🦟🚫
