🏫**Old School’s New Drama in Swansea!**

Manselton Primary School might have shut its doors 14 years ago, but it’s far from forgotten! This historic building, first opened in 1902, has recently become a hotspot for intruders, raising eyebrows in the local community once again.

Residents near the Manor Street site have noticed suspicious comings and goings, with reports of kids sneaking in with backpacks and leaving the next morning. Urban explorers have also been caught on the grounds, keen to capture the abandoned school’s current state.

Despite the school’s closure, there’s still ongoing progress to transform the building. Eton Property Group plans to convert it into 51 residential flats, with planning applications being processed. However, until then, the community is urged to report any suspicious activities to the police.
Councillor Peter Black reassures locals that the environment officer is coordinating with the building’s owners to enhance security measures. Recently, they conducted an ecological survey with the council’s conservation officer to lay the groundwork for future plans.
South Wales Police have fielded multiple reports about the site this year, leading to officers warning several youths about anti-social behaviour. While there haven’t been new incidents lately, both the police and council are working diligently to ensure the area remains secure.
Stay vigilant, Swansea! If you spot anything unusual, call 999 immediately and let’s keep Manselton safe! 📞👮♂️
