🚨 **Police Chase Drama in Wales!** 🚨

In a shocking turn of events, 27-year-old Colin Dixon caused chaos on the roads while being chased by police. Driving a Ford Transit, he collided with a car carrying a mum and her three kids. Imagine the fright when he yelled, *”Move your f****** car, the f****** police are chasing me!”*

The wild ride started on the Heads of the Valleys Road. Dixon, refusing to stop for two police cars at traffic lights, reversed into one of them and sped off, swerving onto pavements and flying through red lights. He hit speeds of 70mph in 30mph zones, even dragging traffic cones along the way!
The tense chase saw Dixon crash into a road closure sign before smashing into a family’s car on Queens Road. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but it left a mum and her children shaken.
When Dixon and his two passengers fled on foot, a police helicopter took to the skies. Caught hiding in brambles and then trying to blend into the crowd, Dixon was finally arrested. Tests later showed he had cannabis in his system and only a provisional licence.
Dixon faced Newport Crown Court and owned up to dangerous and drug driving, driving without a licence and insurance. He has a history of similar offences, making this incident all the more alarming.
The victim expressed the impact: “I thought he would hit me head on. I was so fearful when he began screaming… My children were in shock.”
Judge Carl Harrison handed Dixon a 14-month suspended sentence, 180 hours of unpaid work, a £600 compensation order, and a 3-year driving ban.
A reminder of the risks on the road, stay safe out there, folks! 🚗💨
