Heartbreak has struck as the vibrant Lucy Halpin has passed away after a medical emergency at Tonnau Festival on Anglesey, just weeks after celebrating her 18th birthday. Known for her kind heart and infectious humour, Lucy lit up every room she entered and was a joy to all who knew her.
Lucy was more than an employee at Breeze Hill Bar, she was family. The team is devastated, describing her as “caring, funny, clever and always smiling.” Lucy’s colleagues and customers will miss her dearly.
In memory of Lucy, her friends have launched a GoFundMe page to help give her the heartfelt send-off she deserves. They shared touching tributes, highlighting Lucy’s kindness, care, and the impact she had on everyone around her.
The organisers of Tonnau Festival have expressed their deep sadness, stating their commitment to the safety and well-being of attendees. Following the incident, the festival was cancelled to allow for a thorough investigation.
