🚨 Shocking Incident in Swansea 🚨

In a disturbing act of revenge, Brian Nicol, aged 58, was sentenced to 16 months in prison after a brutal attack on a woman. Believing she had “spiked” his wife, Nicol confronted her at a closed garage on Carmarthen Road. The confrontation turned violent as Nicol, armed with a tyre iron, forced his way in, throwing the woman to the floor and viciously kicking and stamping on her.

The court heard Nicol was fuelled by anger, seeking retribution for what he thought happened to his wife. The judge condemned the attack as “disgraceful”, and an immediate prison sentence was declared unavoidable.

The woman suffered injuries, including bruises and cuts, but thankfully, the police were alerted and Nicol was detained. Prior to this incident, Nicol had a history of various offences but was shocked by his actions, as reported by his defence.
Under a restraining order, Nicol is banned from contacting the victim for 10 years. With prior convictions but none for violence since 2008, this marks a dramatic and concerning turn for Nicol.
An immediate custody sentence means he’ll serve up to half behind bars, with the remainder on licence.
