🏉 Big Day Ahead for Wales U20s! 🏉
Hold onto your seats, everyone! Wales Under-20s are set to face off against the reigning champs, South Africa, in a thrilling battle for a spot in the Junior World Championship semi-finals! 🌟
Our lads have shown incredible grit and talent, defeating hosts Georgia and Uruguay to get this far. Now, they’re up against the mighty South Africans in what promises to be an epic clash. With stars like Tom Howe, Carwyn Leggatt-Jones, and captain Deian Gwynne leading the charge, the stage is set for a potential fairy-tale victory. 🌍🏆
Head Coach Richard Whiffin is confident: “We want a statement win and are prepped for it. This is the biggest game the boys will have played at this level given it’s a winner-takes-all occasion.”
South Africa’s been on an eight-game winning streak at the tournament, so it won’t be easy. But our young dragons are ready to meet them head-on. With a strong scrum and powerful plays, they’re more than prepared for the fierce physical battle ahead. 🐉💪
A third pool win would mark Wales’ first clean sweep at the pool stage since 2013. Can they achieve the unthinkable? Tune in for kick-off at 3pm and cheer on our future stars! 🎉🥳
