🌧️ Get your brollies ready, Wales! The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for most of the country this weekend and into next week. Here’s the lowdown:

⏰ When:

– Saturday, 29th Nov, from 6am to just before midnight.
– Monday, 1st Dec, starting from midnight until 3pm.
📍 Where:
From Cardiff to Carmarthenshire, virtually all corners of Wales like Swansea, Newport, and Merthyr Tydfil are on alert.
🌧️ What to expect:
– Saturday will bring heavy downpours, as rain sweeps in from the southwest.
– On Monday, a wet band will make its way across South Wales, bringing persistent showers, especially over higher terrain like Bannau Brycheiniog.
💧 Rainfall could total 20-30mm widely, but some areas might see a drenching 60-80mm. Strong south-westerly winds are also part of the package, particularly along the coast.
🔍 What to do:
Check if your area might face flooding. It might be wise to draft a flood plan and pack an emergency kit just in case. While disruption is likely, these warnings aren’t expected to pose a direct threat to life or property.
