Wales rugby fans, there’s exciting buzz around the Six Nations squad! Coach Steve Tandy shared his selection process, involving chats with 80 players, balancing tough decisions, and keeping connections strong. The squad reveal was a bit of a rollercoaster, featuring the return of veteran Tomas Francis and surprise inclusion Gabriel Hamer-Webb. Notable omissions? Yes, unfortunately, stars like Tommy Reffell and Rio Dyer missed out this time.
But the real chatter is about our very own Louis Rees-Zammit! Could a position switch be on the horizon? Tandy hinted at possibly having the speedster cover the full-back spot. With his quick feet and impressive kicking, the idea doesn’t sound too far-fetched!
Tandy also touched upon the importance of open communication with players, especially for those who didn’t make the cut. The aim? Keep everyone motivated and ready to rep Wales, be it through encouragement or constructive feedback. He’s all about ensuring the best for the players and enhancing the game we love!
But what about you? How do you feel about these picks and potential changes? Is Rees-Zammit as a full-back something you’d like to see? Let’s get the conversation going! 🏉✨ #WalesRugby #SixNations #ReesZammit #FromWingToFullBack
