A brand-new 40-bed hospital has opened its doors to support those affected by substance misuse. Parkland Place, operated by Adferiad, offers specialist detox and rehabilitation services. This modern facility not only expands Adferiad’s capacity but also marks a significant milestone as the charity celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Her incredible journey is a testament to the possibility of recovery, and she now volunteers to help others on their path.
Laura shares, “Addiction can happen to anyone, but recovery is possible if you’re determined. I’m living proof that with the right support, you can get your life back.”
Parkland Place not only promises hope and healing, but it’s also bringing 70 jobs to the area, boosting the local economy. Kimberley Ellis, director of therapeutic services, states, “Every person who enters our facility has a unique story. We aim to provide compassionate care and help people realise that recovery is within reach.”
