🎉 Exciting News for New Parents in Wales! 🎉
Starting soon, new parents in Wales will receive FREE baby bundles as part of a fantastic initiative by the Welsh Government. Designed to support families with the cost of living and give local businesses a boost, this scheme is sure to delight many!
🎁 What’s Inside?
The bundles are packed with essentials for both baby and mum, including:
– Clothing for ages 0 to 6 months 🍼
– Blankets and a cosy hooded bath towel 🛁
– A bilingual book and a playmat 📚🎈
– Thermometers for bath and room 🌡️
– Maternity and reusable nursing pads 🌼
– Plus other useful items like teethers, bibs, and muslin cloths!
👶 Who Gets Them?
If you’re an expecting parent in a Flying Start area or a family in particular need, you could be eligible. Registration starts at antenatal appointments for those between 25 and 28 weeks pregnant. Midwives can also help families outside Flying Start areas who might need extra support.
📅 When Do They Start?
The first bundles will be delivered from February 2026, but eligible families will learn more during their 16-week antenatal visits. And if you’re having twins or more, you’ll get additional bundles!
This is a beautiful way to ease the journey into parenthood while also supporting our communities. Let’s spread the word and make sure every eligible parent knows about this incredible opportunity! 💖
