📢 Calling all Dads in Wales! It’s time to step up for our kids’ online safety! 🌐

A Glamorgan MP is urging fathers to play a more active role in a crucial UK-wide consultation focused on protecting children online. This consultation wraps up on 26th May, and responses from mums are currently outpacing those from dads by over 75%. Let’s change that!
Right now, men account for less than a quarter of parent responses. It’s vital for dads to share their perspectives too. This isn’t just a mum’s issue; it’s a family issue.

Why does this matter? Boys and young men are facing online hazards, from body image pressures to harmful banter and addictive behaviours. Misogyny and the glamorisation of negative behaviours are more prevalent than ever, and dads can be part of the solution! 👨👦

Lee Chambers from Male Allies UK highlights how fears of judgement and misunderstandings might hold men back. But remember, your voice is needed to help shape a safer online world for our kids.
Men, it’s time to get involved. Whether it’s concerns about gaming, online gambling, or the pressure to look a certain way, these are issues where we can make a difference. Participate now and make your voice heard. 🔍
