🌟 Record-Breaking Triumph in New Delhi! 🌟
In an electrifying World Championship event, Sabrina Fortune, our incredible para shot put star from Wrexham, has done it again! She smashed her world record with a jaw-dropping throw of 16.75m right on her first attempt. That’s a full metre improvement from her previous record earlier this season!
Competing in the F20 classification for athletes with intellectual disabilities, Sabrina captivated a bustling crowd at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, proving that there’s no limit to what determination can achieve. 🎯
Sabrina’s message to the world? Inspire and be inspired! She hopes her success will galvanise young athletes in India and around the globe, showing them that they too can achieve greatness, no matter the challenges.
“The energy, the drums – everything was incredible,” she shared. “I hope Indian children with a disability see this and think, ‘look at that, they can do it and that’s incredible.’” 🌍
And while she basks in her recent glory, Sabrina has her eyes set on an even bigger goal – hitting 17m at the Los Angeles Paralympics in three years. Her belief? Trust yourself and your abilities, and there’s no telling how far you can go!
With over 30 British athletes at the event and robust support from their official finance partner, Novuna, the team is on track for even greater achievements. 🇬🇧
A massive congrats to Sabrina – keep soaring high and inspiring the world! 🌟
