☀️ Exciting weather update, folks! This week, one part of Wales is set to bask in the warmest temperatures across the UK. Thanks to winds sweeping in warm air from Spain, west Wales might just hit a delightful 20°C on Wednesday – the highest we’ve seen this year!

If you’re wondering why it’s feeling a bit more toasty, it’s not just your imagination. The days have been getting longer, and we’ve hit what meteorologists call the “equilux” – equal parts day and night. This means plenty of light and blue skies, with the sun sticking around more each day. 🌞

So, what can we expect? Well, forecasters predict sunshine and warmth with temperatures in mid to high teens across England and Wales. West Wales could steal the spotlight with its potential 20°C, making it feel warmer than it has since last October.
The Met Office forecast hints at sunny skies right after a fresh start, promising a warm and pleasant day. Chief forecaster Dan Harris even mentions a “Foehn effect” boosting temperatures in westerly spots.
While Wednesday’s looking like the week’s warmest day, Thursday also promises to be bright and sunny. As we head into Friday and the weekend, expect the weather to remain dry with more sun, albeit slightly cooler. And heads up for those clear night skies – they might bring some chilly nights and possibly frost for a few. ❄️
