🏉 Exciting times in Welsh rugby! Louis Rees-Zammit, our electric full-back, is embracing the challenge of his new role, but don’t count on him slowing down anytime soon! 🌟
Despite not scoring yet in this Six Nations, Rees-Zammit remains upbeat and focused. He’s been candid about adjusting to the full-back position, where getting his hands on the ball seems trickier compared to his winger days. His new role is all about pre-empting plays and being in the right spot at the right moment.
“I’m working on getting more involved in attack,” he shares, acknowledging that it’s a learning curve. But he’s confident, revealing: “100% it’s coming! We’ve shown real promise and just need to keep building on our performance.”
With Rhys Carre unexpectedly leading the try-scoring chart for Wales, Rees-Zammit’s eager to change that stat. 🤞 He reflects on past matches, highlighting the team’s potential despite facing tough sides like Scotland and Ireland. He insists that Wales is starting to trust each other more, leading to exciting performances for players and fans alike. 🎉
As the contest heats up, keep an eye out for Rees-Zammit. This weekend’s clash against Italy might just be the perfect stage for him to make his mark again. Let’s support our lads and watch how this thrilling new chapter unfolds! 🏴🔥
