What a night for Wales as they dismantled North Macedonia with an emphatic 7-1 victory in Cardiff, clinching second place in Group J and securing a spot in the World Cup qualifying play-offs. Star of the show, Harry Wilson, dazzled with a brilliant hat-trick and an assist, delivering a captain’s performance that was nothing short of perfection. He even topped the tackling charts!
David Brooks and Brennan Johnson also shone brightly, each grabbing a goal while demonstrating their attacking prowess, leaving the Macedonian defence in tatters. Daniel James was a force to be reckoned with, serving up blistering pace and a well-earned goal.
Across the pitch, each player played their part impeccably. From Neco Williams’ boundless energy to Josh Sheehan’s midfield mastery, the team was on fire. Jay Dasilva shone quietly, contributing to key goals, and Karl Darlow ensured a steady night between the posts despite a minor slip.
This vibrant display of football means Wales fans have even more to cheer about as they face the play-offs with renewed confidence. Keep your eyes peeled for who they’ll encounter next, and let’s hope this dazzling form continues all the way to the World Cup! 🏆⚽ #Wales #WorldCupQualifiers
