🚨 Exciting times for Cardiff City! 🚨
The Bluebirds are heading for a thrilling face-off with Forest Green Rovers this summer in a pre-season friendly, where they’ll encounter none other than manager Robbie Savage! Circle Saturday, 25th July on your calendars – this one’s happening at The Bolt New Lawn with a 3pm kick-off. 🏟️⚽
Adding an intriguing twist, there’s talk of Savage’s son, Charlie, potentially making a move to Cardiff. Fits the bill for what boss Brian Barry-Murphy’s looking to inject into the squad ahead of their Championship return. This summer’s shaping up to be BIG, especially as they’re heavily focused on bolstering the midfield. 📝👀
Hot off the heels of a stunning promotion campaign, standout goalkeeper Nathan Trott is tipped for the Premier League by fellow Bermudian Nahki Wells. Trott’s been sensational, boasting 16 clean sheets in League One – a massive reason for Cardiff’s success. 🤩🧤
On the squad front, Joel Bagan’s celebrated a new long-term deal after a stellar season, while stalwart Ryan Wintle is set to depart after his contract ends. And while 12 will leave, the club’s committed to its future stars, offering new deals to several promising youngsters. 🌟✍️
Cardiff City is buzzing with anticipation and ambition! Stay tuned for more updates as the Bluebirds gear up for their Championship adventure. 💪🔵
