🚨 Thrills and danger in Swansea! 🚨
An 18-year-old e-bike rider has been banned from the roads after a heart-racing chase through Swansea city centre! Callum Payne was caught on camera by the Police National Air Service as he weaved through pedestrian zones, zipped across a footbridge, and even rode on the wrong side of the road, dodging oncoming traffic!
This joyride came to an end when Payne was tracked to his home and arrested. In court, he admitted to dangerous driving, using a vehicle without insurance, and not having a proper licence. Now, he faces a two-year driving ban and must complete a rehab course alongside 200 hours of unpaid work.
South Wales Police have put their foot down, with Constable Scott Pearson saying Payne had put everyone on the road at risk. Thankfully, his license is now on hold, ensuring a safer journey for all!
