Teenager Sonny Beazer, 18, found himself in hot water after a wild police chase through Cardiff’s residential streets. Driving a stolen Ford Fiesta, he tried to give officers the slip by reaching dangerous speeds of up to 60mph. But the chase came to a screeching halt when he hit a dead-end and decided to leg it! 🏃♂️
Thankfully, police quickly detained him. This wasn’t Beazer’s only brush with the law; he was caught with cannabis later in the year. When confronted, he casually admitted, “Yes, that’s mine, I smoke it for personal use.” Talk about cool under pressure! 😅
In court, Beazer was slapped with a 24-week suspended sentence, a 30-day rehabilitation order, and a driving ban for a year. He’s also been ordered to pay costs and a victim surcharge. The court heard he’s working to curb his cannabis use and awaiting an ADHD diagnosis.
