🚨 Tragic Incident on M4 Near Bridgend 🚨
Everyone driving near Junction 36 on the M4 this weekend had a surprise as the motorway was closed, creating long queues in both directions. Tragically, the reason was the discovery of a young man’s body on a slip road. Local police were called late Saturday night after reports of someone in distress on a footbridge nearby.
Emergency services, including police and ambulance teams, were quick to respond but, heartbreakingly, they were unable to save the 24-year-old, who was later identified as a resident from Litchard, Bridgend. His family have been informed and are being supported during this difficult time.
Incidents like these remind us of the importance of mental health and reaching out when in need. If you or someone you know is struggling, there are resources available. Mind Cymru, Samaritans, and C.A.L.L. are just a few organisations offering support and advice around the clock.
In moments like these, it’s important to remember—you are never alone. ❤️
