🎉 Exciting news for Swansea City fans! Zan Vipotnik’s impressive header has secured the first away win for the Swans under the leadership of Vitor Matos! 🙌
In a closely-fought battle against Oxford United, it was Vipotnik’s nod from a brilliant Josh Tymon cross that made all the difference, sealing a 1-0 victory. This marks Swansea’s first success on the road since September and caps off a rollercoaster of a 2025. 🚀
With this victory, the Swans are now seven points clear of Oxford and away from the danger zone, instilling fresh hope and confidence for fans and the team alike. Could this be the start of a new upward journey for Matos and his squad? Only time will tell! ⚽️
Let’s not forget the stellar performance by Swansea’s defence, who managed to keep Oxford at bay, despite some nervy moments. Lawrence Vigouroux was hardly troubled, thanks to the solid backline. 🛡️
Oxford put up a valiant fight, especially with new interim manager Craig Short at the helm, but their attempts were just not enough on the day. Swansea’s focus will now be on building momentum and staying on this winning path in the Championship race. 🏆
Here’s to more exhilarating matches and triumphs! Keep cheering for the Swans! 💪✨ #SwansWin #SwanseaCity #FootballCelebration 🦢🎊
