A Mercedes blocking the way to a rescue mission? That’s what happened at Pen-y-Pass car park in north Wales. 🚑 Urgent action was needed when two cars parked in a restricted zone, blocking access to the Miners’ Path. The Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team had to reach a walker in trouble on Crib Goch, but the obstructing vehicles caused a hiccup in getting to them.

The daring hikers on the scene took matters into their own hands. They managed to “bounce” one of the offending Mercs out of the way, allowing the rescue team’s 4×4 to squeeze past. Talk about teamwork!

John Rowell, who witnessed the drama, said, “The no parking zone was clear as day. How irresponsible can you get?” The irony was not lost on him, either—the person needing rescue might have been the car owner! 😮
Thankfully, the rescue team sprung into action once the path was cleared, and the day was saved. Huge thanks to the quick-thinking hikers and the dedicated rescue team for their efforts. Remember, parking carefully can make all the difference in emergencies.
