🚨 Justice Served: Dangerous Criminal Sentenced 🚨

A chilling case recently concluded at Cardiff Crown Court with Jay Jenkins-Lang, 23, facing justice for his horrific crimes. Armed with fake weapons, Jenkins-Lang met a teenage girl online and attacked her after their meeting. The victim, terrified he might use what she thought were real weapons, bravely reported the crime despite the trauma.

Adding to his wrongdoing, during his first trial, Jenkins-Lang tried to deceive the court by submitting a fake letter, claiming the victim had retracted her accusation. This attempt backfired as the forgery was uncovered, leading to a second trial where the truth prevailed.
Jenkins-Lang was convicted of rape, assault, possessing an imitation firearm, and perverting the course of justice. Judge Daniel Williams highlighted Jenkins-Lang as a significant threat to women, sentencing him to 10 years in prison with an additional 6 years on extended licence.
In a powerful victim statement, the courageous young woman expressed her relief now that the legal process is behind her. She shared feelings of triumph and closure, ready to move forward and rebuild her life with strength and support from authorities who stood by her side.
This story of bravery in the face of unimaginable circumstances serves as a reminder of the resilience of survivors and the importance of justice. 💪👩⚖️
