Tragic news from Barmouth Beach as we remember a beloved teacher, Ruhul Amin Nana. Tributes are pouring in for Ruhul, whose passion for teaching and kindness influenced countless lives at The Broadway Academy in Birmingham. Originally from Navsari, India, the 34-year-old teacher and father sadly passed away on the last bank holiday Monday. Emergency services rushed to the scene in Gwynedd after reports of a man in the water, but despite their efforts, Ruhul couldn’t be saved.
North Wales police are investigating, with a 24-year-old man from Birmingham assisting with inquiries. The cause of death remains under investigation, with the inquest opened by coroner Kate Robertson.
Birmingham Perry Barr MP, Ayoub Khan, expressed his sorrow online, praising Ruhul as an exceptional science teacher who left a lasting impact on his students and the community. The Broadway Academy is providing support to those affected, working with local mosques and bereavement counsellors during this difficult time.
Ruhul’s dedication to education and his warm heart will be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts are with his wife, children, family, and friends. Rest in peace, Ruhul. May you find the highest place in paradise. 🌹
