🗓️ Walk-in MenACWY clinics will be available every Saturday for those who haven’t received this crucial vaccine. If you’re in school year nine (ages 13-14) or up to 25 years old and missed your MenACWY shot, now’s the time to catch up.

🩺 The MenACWY jab defends against the A, C, W, and Y strains of meningitis, providing vital protection. Recent incidents have shown how swiftly meningitis can spread, making vaccination more important than ever.

Tragically, two students have died and 29 cases of meningitis have been reported, mostly linked to the MenB strain. The UK Health Security Agency is urging caution as concerns grow with schools and universities entering break times, increasing the potential spread among young people.

⚠️ Health officials are considering changes to vaccine eligibility following these incidents. For now, let’s ensure those eligible get their vaccines promptly.

🏥 Join us at:
– Barry Hospital, Colcot Road (9am-4.30pm)
– Maelfa Wellbeing Hub, Cardiff (9am-4.30pm)

Protect yourself and your loved ones. And remember, if you’ve missed any vaccinations, contact your local GP to discuss. Let’s stay safe and healthy together! 💙
