Mud, sweat, and cheers! Over 6,000 brave souls are diving into a muddy adventure this weekend in Cardiff’s Bute Park. Whether you’re a little one with boundless energy or an adult ready to embrace the mess, there’s something for everyone!
The fun kicked off with Pretty Muddy Kids, a playful 5k obstacle run for kids aged 6 to 12. With a brand new “muddy mayhem” section, the course promises a splash-tastic time – think giant inflatable obstacles, rope swings, and the classic mud pit finish. Not to be left out, the grown-ups took on their own muddy challenge, crawling through tunnels, climbing over frames, bouncing on space hoppers, and sliding into mud-filled glory.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! On Sunday, participants of all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels are lacing up for the Race for Life. With 3k, 5k, and 10k options, there’s a trail for every pace, whether you’re walking, jogging, or dashing through the mud.
Together, we’ve raised an incredible £341,227 for Cancer Research UK so far.
