✨ Exciting Night in Barry! 🌟

Rainy Welsh weather didn’t stop three beloved TV comedians from shining their light on a small local club in need. Mo Gilligan, Babátúndé Aléshé, and Eddie Kadi, stars of your favourite shows, joined forces with fellow comedian Kane Brown for a one-off gig at Cadoxton Conservative Club. Their mission? Raising funds to keep the cherished venue alive—and they did it for free!

Mo, known from The Masked Singer and Netflix specials, has heartfelt ties to this corner of Wales. His family roots run deep in Barry, sparking the initial idea to reach out to him. Incredibly, just hours after contact was made, Mo not only agreed to help but brought along his hilarious friends!
The event was a roaring success, with fans filling the venue to enjoy an unforgettable night of laughter. Giggles were plentiful, and attendees joked about having sore stomachs from all the laughter! The comedians also stayed back, mingling with the crowd, snapping selfies, and making memories.
This night was about more than comedy—it was about rallying community spirit. Thanks to the show, the club has found its way back into the local spotlight, reminding everyone that it remains a cornerstone of community life.
Nestled on Vere Street, this 120-year-old hub needs £15,000 to keep serving its community. With rising costs affecting many beloved venues, the Cadoxton Conservative Club is determined to push through, hosting quizzes, bingo nights, live music, and more to keep its doors open.
Huge kudos to Mo, Eddie, Babátúndé, Kane, and everyone involved for the fantastic show of support. You’ve not just helped a club—you’ve reignited community spirit! Let’s keep the momentum going and continue supporting our local spots. 🌍❤️
