π€ Charlotte Church fans, weβve got some news. The talented Welsh singer and activist, known for her heartfelt events, had to make a tough call. Charlotte was all set to host a moving ‘grief gathering’ called The Children’s Fire at Jackson’s Bay, Barry. Sadly, a nasty sickness bug has sidelined her and her family, forcing a last-minute postponement. π€

Originally planned for Sunday, March 29th, this unique gathering aimed to honour children who have suffered and to encourage justice and healing. Attendees were to come together around a fire, finding comfort in unity, letting go of heavy burdens, and raising their voices for truth and liberation. π₯

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Charlotte shared her disappointment, saying, “I’m so sorry to say that we have to postpone tonight’s grief gathering. Unfortunately, myself and my whole family have been hit with an awful sickness bug, and we just wouldn’t be able to make tonight go ahead as planned.” She promised to announce a new date soon and thanked everyone for their understanding and support. π
Charlotte, who hasn’t shied away from using her platform for activism, previously led a “Big Sing for Gaza” event at Barry Island Promenade. This gathering, like many of her initiatives, was a powerful call to action and a show of solidarity.
Keep an eye out for updates on the rescheduled event date, and letβs send some healing vibes Charlotte’s way! π Stay tuned, and stay healthy, everyone!
