🚨 Drug Dealer’s Dramatic Takedown! 🚨

Luke Montgomery, 23, took the art of concealment to bizarre new levels by hiding crack cocaine in a nappy. Found by Gwent Police, this daring dealer managed to rake in nearly £200,000. But the story doesn’t end there!

Last September, chaos erupted on Newport’s Caerleon Road when police were alerted about a man brandishing a knife. Enter Montgomery, who attempted a daring escape, narrowly dodging traffic as police swiftly closed in. Ignoring commands, he tried to dispose of cash while claiming innocence with shouts of “I’ve got nothing on me!”
Following a thorough search, officers uncovered heroin, cocaine, and hefty piles of cash totalling nearly £200k in drug sales. A discarded machete was also discovered under a police car. Montgomery pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including possession with intent to supply and possession of a knife.
Judge Paul Hobson laid down the law, sentencing him to over eight years in prison. Despite the staggering profits, Montgomery only had £37,000 worth of assets, which the court has ordered him to repay.
Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Edwards praised the swift action of the officers, saying, “Montgomery’s attempts to evade justice were futile in the face of overwhelming evidence.” The bust revealed massive quantities of drugs, including 5.7kg of heroin and 239.8g of cocaine.
The community’s vigilance and valuable information played a key role in bringing this dealer to justice, highlighting the importance of standing together against those who seek to profit from the vulnerable.
