Shopping online drama alert! Kayleigh Reid, from Portsmouth, was left stunned when her brand new £130 Nike running shoes arrived looking anything but new. Instead of the pristine kicks she expected, she opened the box to find trainers allegedly covered in mud, with the print peeling off, hairs inside, and even stones wedged in the soles!

Like anyone would be, she was utterly speechless. After recovering from the shock, Kayleigh reached out to ASOS customer service, hoping for a quick fix. But what she heard next was a jaw-dropper. ASOS suggested she could either get the shoes dry cleaned (yes, you read that right) or send them back for inspection at the warehouse to prove it wasn’t her fault. What a hassle!

Kayleigh, who snagged the shoes on discount for £90, is feeling let down. The shoes needed to be returned at her expense (£3.95), leaving her worried she might not see a full refund. Currently, she’s waiting for ASOS to sort it out, hoping for that full refund and a formal apology.

Kayleigh’s now vowing to steer clear of ASOS after this muddy misadventure, and who can blame her? Despite being a fan up till now, this incident has left a sour taste. Let’s hope ASOS makes this right soon!
