🏡 Exciting news for Ceredigion! Plans for 17 affordable homes in the charming village of Llanarth have just received the green light from the county council. Despite some local concerns over infrastructure and development size, this project aims to address significant housing needs in the area.

The whole development, led by Wales & West Housing Association, is 100% affordable. Imagine living in a mix of beautiful homes: one three-bed detached, two three-bed semis, ten two-bed semis, and four cosy one-bed bungalows!

However, there’s a bit of a wait. Due to crucial sewerage system improvements, residents will only be able to move in come 2029. Local voices raised issues about road safety and sewerage impact, but rest assured, the council has deemed the project as safe and sound, both for traffic and the environment. 🚗🌿
Welsh Water is on the case, ensuring that their improvement works will wrap up by December 2028. So, despite a few obstacles, the community will soon have new, much-needed homes that will meet local needs.
In efforts to address concerns, it’s confirmed that the local schools can handle the increase in young learners. The development promises not just homes but a boost to the village’s vibrancy and resilience.
We’re thrilled to see positive steps being made toward meeting housing demands while ensuring community amenities evolve as needed. Here’s to a brighter, more affordable future! 🌟
