Heartbreaking News: Father & Daughter from Doncaster Tragically Drown in Newquay 🌊
In a devastating turn of events, a father and daughter from Doncaster tragically lost their lives off Fistral Beach, Newquay. On the evening of July 26th, emergency services, including Devon and Cornwall Police, Coastguard rescue teams, RNLI lifeboats, and a Coastguard helicopter, rushed to the scene after receiving reports of two individuals being pulled from the water.
Despite their rapid response, the man in his 60s and woman in her 30s were sadly declared deceased at the scene. Our hearts go out to their family during this incredibly difficult time.
The family is also seeking help from the public to locate a missing handbag that holds personal and sentimental items. The bag is distinctive, described as orange or peach, with a leather-style finish and a shoulder strap, approximately 30cm by 30cm.
