🚨🔥 Drama in Cardiff: Bin Lorry Ablaze Outside Local Pub! 🔥🚨
Heads up, Cardiff residents! A bin lorry went up in flames right outside the Mackintosh Pub in Cathays! 😲 It all happened due to a bike battery being improperly tossed out, sparking a fire that’s the second in two weeks!
Swift action from the fire brigade kept damage to a minimum. However, the council is urging everyone to think twice about what you’re throwing away. Batteries, gas canisters, vapes, and other hazardous items don’t belong in household bins. They pose a real threat, putting our community and safety services at risk. 🚫🔋
But fret not, there are plenty of safe places to dispose of these items! Drop them off at local supermarkets, community recycling zones, or Cardiff’s household waste recycling centres on Lamby Way and Bessemer Close.
Let’s keep Cardiff safe and beautiful by disposing of waste the right way. ♻️✨ Share this message and help spread awareness!
Stay safe, everyone! 🙌 #CardiffNews #StaySafe #RecycleRight
