Tragic news from the Royal Welsh Show as a 25-year-old man has sadly passed away at Penmaenau Farm caravan park, a beloved spot for show visitors. The incident took place on Saturday night when officers responded to a medical emergency. Sadly, the young man could not be saved. In the wake of this, three men have been arrested on suspicion of drug-related offences and are currently in police custody.

The Royal Welsh Show has expressed their deep sorrow over the incident, extending their thoughts to the young man’s loved ones. They’ve emphasised their commitment to working closely with Dyfed-Powys Police as investigations continue and stressed that the safety and wellbeing of all attendees is their top priority.

The organisers assure attendees of extensive safety and welfare measures in place, with the caravan park remaining open, and want everyone visiting to feel supported and have a safe, enjoyable time. It’s been confirmed that the incident was an isolated medical emergency, but the park continues to prioritise guest safety and wellbeing.
Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this tragic event. Stay safe and look out for each other.
