🏉 Heartfelt Challenge Alert! 🏉

Lewis Moody, former England rugby captain, is taking on an inspiring 500-mile cycling challenge to raise funds for motor neurone disease (MND). Diagnosed last year, Lewis isn’t letting the disease stop him. This summer, he’ll cycle across the UK with rugby legends like Phil Vickery and Jonny Wilkinson, along with family and friends, to support the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

🚴♂️ His route kicks off at Kingston Park, ending at Twickenham to deliver the match ball for the PREM Rugby Final. It’s a journey filled with significance, passing through locales that have been pivotal in his career, including Leicester Tigers’ Welford Road.
Lewis, embracing life and seeking to make a difference, said, “It’s about more than the miles. It’s about camaraderie, support, and hopefully making an impact for those battling MND.”
The challenge aims to boost funding for research and support, hoping for breakthroughs in treatment. Nicola Roseman, CEO of the foundation, praises Lewis’ courage, highlighting his determination not to be defined by MND.
Let’s cheer for Lewis and the team as they pedal hard for a future free of MND! 🚴♂️💪
