🏉 Big Moves in Rugby World! 🏉
Exciting news for rugby fans! Former Wales prop, Grand Slam winner Rob Evans, is taking his expertise to the sunny climes of Dubai! 🌞 After an impressive playing career, Evans has transitioned into coaching and is guiding the young talent at Dubai Broncos as their new forwards coach for the U11 to U16 squads. Watch out for future stars under his expert eye! 🚀
Meanwhile, in England, promising talent Noah Caluori has had to hit pause. The 19-year-old Saracens wing recently underwent surgery for a wrist injury he bravely played through all last season. 🤕 Despite his injury, Caluori was unstoppable, finishing as the top try-scorer in the league alongside Tommy Freeman. He’s now on the mend and promises to come back stronger than ever. 💪
And on a more serious note, the High Court is reviewing claims from former rugby players regarding brain injuries sustained during their careers. With hundreds of claims hanging in the balance, the court’s decision could impact the future of rugby safety standards. Here’s hoping for a resolution that prioritises player welfare! 🙏
