👑🏉 Rugby star Joe Marler had a laugh after Princess Anne confused him with England prop Joe Heyes at a recent Six Nations match! As a patron of Scottish rugby, Princess Anne got a bit mixed up during her meet and greet, thinking Heyes was the witty Marler, known for his cheeky TV appearances. 🤭

Appearing on “The Good, The Bad & The Rugby” podcast, Marler teased co-host Mike Tindall, who is, funnily enough, Princess Anne’s son-in-law. “Such a low blow,” Marler joked, after Heyes shared how Princess Anne thought he was the funny guy from telly. 😅
Heyes found it amusing but admits he was too starstruck to correct her. “I almost went with it,” he said. The doppelgängers have more in common than just their beards and build, it seems! 😂

In the meantime, England has bigger concerns with their lacklustre Six Nations performance. After a tough campaign, finishing fifth, there’s a lot of work to be done to turn things around.
What do you think? Should Marler embrace his royal mix-up identity, or is it time for him to stand out in his own right? 🤔💬 Share your thoughts below! #RugbyFans #RoyalEncounter #SixNations2026
