With temperatures soaring over 30C across Wales, staff and patients at Morriston Hospital are facing a hot challenge. A lack of air conditioning has sparked multiple complaints, with everyone feeling the heat on the wards.
The Swansea Bay University Health Board has stepped forward with an apology, acknowledging the struggles faced by staff and patients during the third heatwave of the year. 🌡️
One hospital worker shared, “We’re getting more and more complaints from patients, and obviously staff are suffering as well.” Despite the tricky conditions, the hospital assures everyone that they’re working hard to ease the discomfort in these unprecedented temperatures.
