**Chaos in the Skies: Drunk Passenger Jailed After Ryanair Fiasco! 🚨✈️**

A Ryanair flight from Krakow to Bristol was far from smooth sailing when an inebriated passenger, Stephen Blofield, caused quite the stir. The 61-year-old, hailing from Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, was so disruptive and aggressive that the pilot had to abort his first landing attempt. Fellow passengers were left on edge as Blofield refused to sit down and fasten his seatbelt, shouting, “You can’t tell me what to do, I’m English!”

The situation escalated as Blofield continued his tirade against the Polish cabin crew, leaving them and the passengers fearing for their safety. With police waiting upon landing, his aggressive behaviour only worsened in their presence. Ian Fenny, the prosecutor, described the incident as “the worst abuse” endured by attending officers, and Blofield had to be removed from the plane using an ambulift—a tool typically for disabled passengers.
Blofield, who pleaded guilty to multiple offences including being drunk on an aircraft and using threatening language, revealed he turned to alcohol after losing his medication for back pain and anxiety. The court was told he’d struggled with withdrawal and became nervous about flying.
Despite his claims of no recollection, Blofield showed a degree of remorse after witnessing videos of his behaviour. However, Judge Ambrose saw fit to issue a 10-month custodial sentence, highlighting the severity of his actions. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of disruptive behaviour in the air. 🛬💥
