A heart-wrenching situation unfolded in Fishguard as a baby is currently battling for life in a “critical but stable” condition following an incident at a home. Police hurried to the scene after receiving reports of a medical emergency on the evening of Saturday, May 2. The young child was swiftly taken to hospital, and authorities were alerted later that night around 10.10pm.
A young man and woman, both 18 years old, have been arrested under suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. They’ve since been released on conditional bail as investigations continue to uncover the events that led to this shocking situation.
