🎄✨ Christmas magic came early for a group of seriously ill children from Wales! These brave little ones were treated to an unforgettable day in London, thanks to the incredible Dreams and Wishes charity. From Cardiff to Blackwood, nine young adventurers made their way to the iconic Speaker’s House at the House of Commons for a day filled with joy and surprises.

The excitement was palpable as they experienced the grandeur of the State Rooms in Parliament, where Santa himself made a special appearance with a bag full of presents! Accompanied by soldiers from the Welsh Guards and Queen’s Dragoon Guards in their ceremonial outfits, the children even received a delightful escort alongside three enchanting princesses. 🎅🎁

The magic didn’t stop there! The adventure continued with visits to Downing Street and the London Eye, bringing smiles and creating memories to cherish forever. 🎡🏛️
Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons, expressed his joy and said it was one of the “most treasured days” in the parliamentary calendar. It’s a tradition that has warmed hearts for 34 years, providing these families a much-needed respite from the difficult days spent in hospitals.
Tony Curtis MBE, who organised this magical trip, summed it up perfectly: “Our aim is always to make memories for families and put smiles on faces during the most difficult of times.”
A massive thank you to the volunteers and all involved for making this day unforgettable. ❤️✨
