🚗💨 Dine & Dash Drama in Penarth!
A couple in a flashy car has stirred up quite the buzz in Penarth after leaving a chic waterside spot without settling their bill. The dynamic duo enjoyed a meal at The Old Custom House but sped off before paying, prompting the restaurant to issue a public appeal for the pair to return and settle up.
Caught on CCTV, the couple nonchalantly parked in the restaurant’s private car park and dined before making their swift exit. Now, the brasserie is hoping to resolve the matter “politely” and has reached out with a simple request for the couple to get in touch.
The restaurant’s plea has sparked support online, with locals and social media users rallying behind the business. One user commented, “I love it when people are caught out and publicly shamed, well done guys.” Another added, “So sorry to hear this folks, hope it gets resolved.”
Let’s hope the couple does the right thing and settles their bill soon! 🕵️♂️👩🍳
